Kaffe with Kalela March Meet Up: unpacking the crisis in Israel with Esther Solomon
Join NCJW Israel Program Manager Kalela Lancaster for the second virtual meet up in the Kaffe with Kalela series. This month, as the Israeli government continues to push through its judicial overhaul legislation, violence flares up in the West Bank, and protests swell in numbers and intensify in tactics, Kalela will chat with Esther Solomon, Editor-in-Chief of the Haaretz English Edition.

A veteran analyst and journalist, Esther will help us to unpack the various elements of this unprecedented moment of crisis, discuss possible scenarios of how it might play out, and share thoughts about the impact of the protest movement in Israel and internationally. She will also zoom in on concerns for freedom of the press in Israel, as well as the role of the media at this time.
